Southern Dunes is a 24 hour gated community in an attractive and peaceful setting.

Southern Dunes golf course is ranked in the top 100 modern American golf courses and was designed in 1993 by Steve Smyers. It's dramatic hillside layout stretches to over 7,200 yards and features 100ft elevation changes, not typically found in Central Florida. In the March 2004 issue Southern Dunes Golf and Country Club has been ranked 6th in Florida in Golfweek's America 's Best Courses you can play.

If you are not a golfer wanting to play this superb course or to use the driving range why not try the clubhouse bar or restaurant, which serves a fantastic variety of delicious meals, welcomes children and is only a 5 minute walk from our villa.

As a guest staying in our villa, you will also be eligible for free use of the other features within the Southern Dunes Golf & Country Club. These include a communal swimming pool, tennis courts, gym, library and children's adventure playground. For anglers why not try fishing at one of the many local lakes in the area which is known as the "Bass Capital of the World"?

All the needs of a self catering tourist can be met by the huge selection of shops literally just outside Southern Dunes. There is a large 24 hour Wal*Mart, supermarkets, chemists, banks, petrol station, hairdressing salon, Blockbusters, liquor store and restaurants including the very popular Manny's Chophouse.

Southern Dunes is off US 27 which goes south to Miami and north to the I-4 for the airport, theme parks, east to Kennedy Space Centre and the space coast , west to Busch Gardens and the fantastic white sandy beaches on the gulf coast.
